Yeah, we thought the government was lying about weapons of mass destruction and missles that could attack the west in 45 minutes.

We thought the war in iraq would turn into a big bloody mess with no end in sight.

I feel so stupid.

the government wont do it themselves.

they will just ignore a real terror event that they could have foiled or something.

My prediction (in verse because this is allegedly a site for musicians) -

When you're no longer relevant,
when you've nothing left to say,
with no creativity left, no spark or flame,
and empty words in your addled brain,
there is always politics and conspiracy to fall back on,
a make believe connection
a talent fucked illation,
to those that now hold nothing in common with you,
are we relevant yet?

illation: noun : archaic : the action of inferring or drawing a conclusion. • an inference. ORIGIN mid 16th cent.: from Latin illatio(n-), from illat- ‘brought in,’ from the verb inferre (see infer ).

Psshh... quiet you :P. Not so much poetry as musical verse, it fits to music, honest, no really, it does, seriously, even if i might have to mightily bend and break the laws of mere note, rhythm and cadence in order to make them fit, by Jove the forces of music shall bend to my will, oh yes they shall (cue 1980's cartoon hero music and background sequence).

Don't you folks have a Peta march to go to, promote a bill to stifle free speech, go beat up a white man, raise taxes or go to your goose stepping classes to pass the time?

LOL!

Really, it would be simply precious to see you folks go move to one of these Islamic countries (or maybe China) and start you whining. It would be a lucrative pay-per-view reality event.

Ah, but the rest of us have to live in the real world!

:)

P.S. - how's the UFO hunting going!

if it weren't so sad, it'd be funny how the USA now are asking for the U.N. to help them out in iraq after they totally ignored everyone except their loyal bootlickers before going to war.

Everybody told them there were no W.M.D. Everybody pointed out how Saddam couldn't stand Osama and Al'Quaeda and chased them out of the country the one time they were actually there.

But no, Dick and Dubya knew better (God probably spoke to them) so they went and created a bloody mess that is now everbody's mess. Not that they'd take anything but a ridiculous number of the refugees they created, leave that to others...

An armenian saying goes: "One idiot threw a stone down a well; fourty wise men couldn't get it out..." rather fitting imho.

elect Bush once, shame on him. Elect him twice, shame on the people! (ok, or on the judges) ;)
