Another vote for wacom tablet support
Yes, another vote for tablet support.
I didn't buy this thing to use with ableton, but for the applications I do use it with my tablet at-least doubles the speed and efficiency at which I work.
I would be seriously stoked to use my tablet, especially for the arrangement phase of my work flow, but the wildly jumping knobs prohibit it. It's great for moving stuff around, but adjusting parameters or drawing break points is out of the question.
Cinema 4D has an application preference that allows you to use a tablet. Trying to scale an object with this preference switched off yields results not unlike those in ableton. If any tablet users here also have cinema 4D try it, switch off the tablet preference, create a parametric primitive and try to size it. No control at all. Switch the preference back on and it behaves normally.
I'm sure ableton could do something similar if they wanted to. Hopefully they will one day!

Re: Another vote for wacom tablet support
yes +1 please fix wacom support.
Using Live 8.0.2, OSX 10.6.4 and a Wacom tablet. Ableton Live is the only app that does not support the wacom tablet correctly. Faders, knobs, etc. seem to jump to max/min value and are almost impossible to set. Zoom is very hard to control and also wants to jump to max/min. And, I loose functionality over my MBP mouse in all other apps and the OS when I use the wacom tablet with Ableton Live.

BUMP!
This is so frustrating.. I have some problems with rsi and cannot use mice anymore. The wacom pad is fantastic and I am now using computers again, however I cannot use my beloved ableton with the MAJOR problems with the faders, knobs.

+1
I end up using a tablet for most things and then setting down the stylus and switching to the mouse to change a volume level or fine tune the zoom level. Being able to use the Wacom exclusively with Live would seriously speed up my workflow.

Re: Another vote for wacom tablet support
this has been fixed for a long time already..
- create a text file into the Ableton preferences folder named Options.txt
OSX path (sorry, don't know for Win): user/library/preferences/ableton/live 8.x/Options.txt
make sure that text file is saved as plain text, so no formating such as .rtf!
- in that text file enter this line: -AbsoluteMouseMode
fixed..!
