In all seriousness-since Tone is anti-rubber band, I have to join you lot and vote for The Beatles (and Geoff Emerick, their long time engineer)as well. I think we could devote an entire thread to each of their albums.
Have you read the book/memoirs by Emerick about Beatles recording sessions? I think we might have already had this conversation awhile back,, I don't know... Abe's search engine is fke*% anyhow- the book is entertaining and made me appreciate the evolution of music technology and the creativity in recording. Geoff Emerick was practically a Beatle himself.
