Hey,
Ok so i am recording audio from battery into ableton. Usually i can trigger the cells in battery using the keyboard as its armed but as the midi track is not armed anymore because the audio one im recording into is i am unable to use the keyboard and have to use the mouse.
So how do i have the audio track armed in Ableton but still use the keyboard to trigger hits in Battery as i am recording? As you usually need the midi track to be armed to use the keyboard to play it.
Please help!
Cheers

Command (or control if you are on a pc) click on the arm buttons on the tracks, which will allow you have more than one track armed at a time.
Or you can just record as midi data from battery on your midi track and then route the audio from your midi track to an audio one afterwords to free up some cpu. I think that would be your better option so you can more easily edit your track.
