Remember when his tour bus dumped its septic tank or whatever while crossing a draw bridge - just as a tour boat happened to be passing below? An entire boat load of people were doused in Dave Mathews doo.

I don't like his music, but for that alone he get's much respect.

Hi,
I would just like to give this thread some support. Not because I like to perpetuate the cycle of hatred, but because I truley loathe Dave Matthews with every inch of my body.
Rot in Hell.

I never got the fascination with his music either. Dated a girl who swore he was the best guitar player ever....

more like the drunk college wanna-be hippie crowd

i'v seen him 4 times thinking maybe i'd like him if i saw him

all 4 shows were exactly the same (no jamming)

sometimes I feel that I'm the only one who thought the movie of American Psycho was horrible

Maybe I didn't "get" the book -

but for me the violence was really key and there's just no way you could ever depict it on film, unless you were French

I guess that's what I'm saying - American Psycho should have been a lot more like Irreversible

the book is good? I just liked the sick irony of the main characters life and the 1 2 punch at the end when he realizes that they're ALL psycho on a level that disturbed even him. I watched it maybe 5 times before I got it.

or maybe I'm just a sick person.

I don't hate Dave Mathews, but despise the people who listen to him.

I do like American Psycho though. :D

I do not like Dave Matthews, but I do hate John Mayer and Coldplay. Whiny bastards.

I have always consistently hated Dave Matthews band from the very first time I heard them. And the type of people who like him make me wanna puke too. They're so similar to each other, predictable, and annoying!

Now Coldplay I wasn't really wild about at first, but for some reason, the uniqueness of the guy's voice is growing on me. He doesn't sound (or try to sound) like anyone else but himself. Gotta give him credit for that.

His voice sounds really good remixed in electronica downtempo music too. Too bad he's not involved with that more.

coldplay are a dumbed down version of radiohead, IMO.

but really, in a hater thread EVERY band is going to get knocked down.

Inane blues hippy crap!
No, I don't like this shit, but knowing that he's a pisshead sorta makes it easier to understand. If I made music like that, I'd try to drink myself to death too.
