AES in NYC on Oct 5-8 - Live 7 Announcement
They could be going just to promote their newest version of Live which is actually Live 6 Lite.

I can't see them releasing a new version of Live when they just released Live 6 Lite. If that were the case, wouldn't it seem more logical to wait until the release of Live 7 before releasing a Lite version?

You are gonna lick my ass when you're wrong. Dead wrong. So wrong that you'll like licking asses compared to the shame of your wrongness.kb420 wrote:They could be going just to promote their newest version of Live which is actually Live 6 Lite.

(sorry, just saw Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, so my responses may be cruder than usual)

No, there was no inclination on my part to pay for the classes, $50 is enough for me. I was just wondering if anything good is ever taught. And yeah, round trip to Copenhagen is only about $550 now. CHEAP. Want to go kick it with some Danes, neb?

That is entirely up to Andreas' wife.sparklepuff wrote:No, there was no inclination on my part to pay for the classes, $50 is enough for me. I was just wondering if anything good is ever taught. I thought the exact same thing and it feels logical. I'd love to be wrong, but I don't think there's a v7 in the immediate future. I thought there would be, because it's almost exactly a year ago that v6 hit, but the release of 6 Lite so recently would seem to indicate otherwise.kb420 wrote:They could be going just to promote their newest version of Live which is actually Live 6 Lite.

What it is (for Now): (2) Lenovo Dual Core desktops, Edirol PCR-800, Sonar 8.5 PE, Live 8 w/Operator and Sampler, the unloved PT 8, Kontakt 4, Battery 3, GPO 4, mulititudinous plugs and libraries, much unused hardware. And... silence; much silence.

Actually, it's been a little over a year since Live 6 was announced:

Live 6 wasn't released until 9/29/2006, but they announced it in July.
If they are planning on announcing a new version of Live, I can't wait to see what the new features will be.
