Reaktor5 and Live6

Post by kmac » Fri Sep 28, 2007 2:23 pm

ok, if you use gaugear or skrewell and know how to get live 6 to record your realtime parameter changes, then.....ugggh......let me explain...when i use reaktor5 as a plug-in to live6 (specifically the Gaugear synth)the only reproducible parameter in a recording is the midi key i hit, if i scroll any of the alterable parameters, those movements are not captured....i just get the midi note i hit....what am i doing wrong? i've never run into this problem with any other product i've used from NI so it seems to me i have misunderstood something basic about either Live6 or Reaktor5......well, hope somebody can grok dis mess

ok, never mind , i was trying to use envelopes but i hadn't figured out until a minute ago that you have to unlink the loop.....but i have a new question if anybody may know.....is there a workaround to not being able to map your midi controller to an envelope parameter ?

ok, so sorry but please just ignore this topic, however, if any have found themselves with the same problem.....you need to map your midi controller on the program/ preset page , then goto arrangement view, click on your chosen envelope and globally record. i'm guessing this is common knowledge, but, hey, always cool to figure out something new about live.
