Live 6 wasn't released until 9/29/2006, but they announced it in July.

If they are planning on announcing a new version of Live, I can't wait to see what the new features will be.
Yeah. I was just remembering us all sitting around literally waiting for the links to go live on the 29th. (Crazy times.) But again, if the announcement was in July and the actual release at the end of September, then even if they announced next week, we wouldn't likely see release before the new year, don't you think?

For my two cents, I hope they get time signatures down. And slightly more flexible screen handling (all that tiny stuff is hard on old eyes). I just took advantage of the Sampler deal, though, so I should be busy enough for the foreseeable future.
What it is (for Now): (2) Lenovo Dual Core desktops, Edirol PCR-800, Sonar 8.5 PE, Live 8 w/Operator and Sampler, the unloved PT 8, Kontakt 4, Battery 3, GPO 4, mulititudinous plugs and libraries, much unused hardware. And... silence; much silence.

Well, I am planning on getting Reason 4, and I hope that Live 7 irons out the Rewire problem discussed in this thread:

Ableton will be announcing the trance edition of Live at AES and no other announcing from competitors

I can't see them releasing a new version of Live when they just released Live 6 Lite. If that were the case, wouldn't it seem more logical to wait until the release of Live 7 before releasing a Lite version?

You are gonna lick my ass when you're wrong. Dead wrong. So wrong that you'll like licking asses compared to the shame of your wrongness.

(sorry, just saw Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, so my responses may be cruder than usual)
Kids, it looks like Neb's ass is gonna be raw from all the licking it as about to receive!!!

I'll reserve an unlicked spot specially for you.

The pastries are only for the Germans. And I'll bring good stuff to NAMM in January.

Well, in the parts being quoted, it says you'll be going to promote your newest version, which is Live 6 LE. Neb argues that. You in fact will be going to promote Live 7, your newest version. I believe ass licking is in order!
