With 'Creative Feelings', Ryan Sullivan (JHB) teams up with Fred De Meillon (CT) to deliver a progressive house piece that marks the sixth release on the ever growing Gut Feel Records label.
Ryan Sullivan has been crafting his skills as a music producer, composer and dj for over 10 years, with numerous labels and DJ's wanting a piece of his emotion packed electronic pieces. Fred De Meillon on the other hand, is well known and respected as a musician and vocalist in the alternative genre’s in Southern Africa.
Andre Supra (South Africa) and Daniel Guidry (USA) are the team behind the Guidry & Supra sound. These two produce and remix world-class music that has rocked both dance floors and chilled listeners alike.
The original mix of ‘Creative Feelings’ is driving progressive house, laced with lush pads and held together by an emotional piano melody while the Guidry & Supra Herwerk (Afrikaans for remix) is deep and emotional, combining house and breaks to form an interesting hybrid, adding a gentle touch to the release.
GFR007 - Ryan Sullivan – Take It Back
Loaded with atmosphere, Take it Back is yet another deep driving piece from Ryan Sullivan, however this time with a more dance-floor friendly groove. The track chugs along its deep journey quite simply, leaving the drums to do their work on the dance-floor.
GFR008 - The Mary Saga – Open Feel
Ryan Sullivan and Steve Clarke have come together to form, ‘The Mary Saga’. Although they have struggled to work on projects together in the past, the formation of the duo has lead to them creating something electric. Their sound is an interesting musical fusion, combining elements of all genres of electronic music with the intention of remaining intelligent. ‘Open Feel’ is the result of a live performance in Johannesburg and carries a techno whip along with its uplifting soundscape.
