hey all-
i'm new to ableton and have been cruising the forums to help get a grip and i found this thread...i grew up in rockville so am glad to see such a thriving scene in the area! i have a soft spot for the DC metro area even though i am currently living in indiana (i just finished school, and no i don't plan on staying here).
i've been checking out a lot of spank rock out recently, and knowing that the group is from baltimore, i was wondering if anybody might know what kind of equipment/programs/techniques/etc their dj uses. that album "yoyoyoyoyo" is some of the best new music i've heard in years...
thanks in advance.

[quote="mikemc"]Things are going swimmingly for DK sound engineer extraordinaire so he couldn't swing may, but in his absence we've managed to pull together something for June...
[edit] site seems to be down for a bit... let's try this one.
EDIT:
Our fourth act had to cancel, but a surprise guest may yet be in the offing! STILL< admission only $US 7 ...that's just 5 EU

Yo keep me posted on this as I live in DC as well and I've been a live user since Live 4.0. I would really benefit greatly from meeting some Live Gurus...
