m-audio oxygen 8 v 2

Hello,

For any Oxygen 8 v 2 users, I installed the driver to windows xp and it detects it, but for some reason Ableton doesn't. I went to preferences and then midi/sync tab and I don't see it added there. What should I do in order to make it readable by Ableton?

maybe any midi keyboard as an input? would appreciate your help.

Ableton 6 does recognize it (you have to go to the MIDI preferences tab to enable it) but if you're still working with Live 5 I'm pretty sure that predates the Oxygen8 v2.

thanks Martin for the reply...I actually went to the MIDI preferences tab and tried to do so, but the input column is disabled and I can't change anything on it...Under Midi ports also, I don't see an input port...only an output.

any help would be appreciated...When I hook up my m-audio oxygen 8 vs 2, I can see windows XP detecting it, but when I go to preferences then Midi/Sync tab, I don't see an input midi port.
