monitor for ableton

Post by natestate » Tue Oct 30, 2007 12:59 pm

Apologies if this question has already been posted but can anyone tell me what kind of monitor Mr Henke uses on the Live tutorial videos? I have a 15" laptop and would love to see what I'm doing hahaha.

Sorry - I'm a newbie - but can someone suggest a good monitor to use so I can properly see the functions in Ableton? I'm pretty new to electronic music making and haven't got the foggiest idea about what monitor is ideal (my 15" laptop screen is inadequate)...

Do you have any suggestions of specs, or specific models?

Mate, just set a budget and get the best you can afford. Samsung are reputable for monitors, even some of the Asus ones nowadays look great. As with any monitors, go into the store and check em out before you buy.

I have to reiterate I know nothing about computer monitors and that's why I'm posting this. Thanks for your input but I think I'll just do some internet research instead.
