Here's a new piece done in the Live 7 beta, but doesn't take advantage of any particular Live 7 features, other than the 64 bit engine and the new compressor. I tried to break the damn thing, but haven't yet. Maybe I should be using more of the new feature's, but my philosophy for beta testing is to use it how I normally use it. Let me know what you think of it.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. As to the sounds: the beginning sound is one of my daughter's toy cash registers mangled by re-pitching (re-pitch warp and move the warp markers until satisfied). The next sound in was made in Sampler, 1) a little boy who was over to our house saying "watch out!", and a 2 liter plastic pop bottle crumpled and released in rhythm. Sever twisting of those two elements occurred in the modulation section. The melody synth was done with Zebra 2 and a Grain Delay. Doubling sounds for the melody were MOTU Symphonic Instrument and a bell sound I made in Operator. The percussion sounds were presets for Operator and Sampler. A lot of Random was used in "Lost". All of the percussion pitches were Random driven, and the rhythms were randomly played by creating short clips, ex. 1/16, 1/8, 1/4 note lengths, all played using follow actions that were set to "any" or "other".blaugruen7 wrote:i enjoyed it. thank you.
would like to tell a bit where the sounds come from?
own sound recordings mangled?
Hopefully that's enough of the details. Any other questions, I'd be happy to answer.
