Upgrading Live
Upgrading Live
I recently purchased Live 6 and would like to upgrade it to version 6.0.10. After I ran setup, I have two separate version on my desktop. My old version 6.0.5 and the new 6.0.10. After I open 6.0.10 it seems that I need to unlock it. Shouldn't the setup overwrite the old program? I was under the impression that I only could only unlock the program twice. Is this extra unlocking normal?
No the registration is tied to your machine not version number.
Basically once Live 6.0 is authorized then any Live updates e.g 6.0.1 6.0.7 6.0.99 use the same key. On the first time the update is loaded up, the key gets copied from the previous version. You don't authorize per update.

Update live stupid question
This may sound like a stupid question but can I delete all the previous versions(6.0,6.0.5,6.0.7) after downloading 6.0.1?
