is anybody else's download going incredibly slow?

i tried resetting my modem and router both, but i can't get ableton 7 to download any faster than like 10kbps. it's maddening! i have lots to do today and this wait is KILLING me.

i need it (smacks veins) i need it nowwwww!

Fine for me, skipping along at >300kbps. But then I do live downhill from the Ableton offices, freewheeling all the way... Press the Turbo button?

Yeah, I'm getting a whopping 25-30K on a 6Mb connection. Normally, I get 700-850 K.

Sorry, you have my sympathy. To be serious: I don't think there's a big problem on the Ableton server's side if I can get high DL throughput, I just used the standard link and so on, no secret mirror. So, dunno what to suggest... a friend with a fat office connection?

My download stopped and remained on about 12mb for ages. I then gave up.

Surely they could avoid this bottleneck.

I have no f*cking sympathy - 4.3kbps on DIALUP baby... should be down in 4.5 hours...

In fact, why am I bothering replying to this post! Precious kilobytes are being delayed!!!

And yes I will continue to moan about this on the forum until I get hooked up with broadband...
