Ableton's childish UI really cracks me up
Kinda reminds me of that game "LegoLand". Gentle little pastel colors, non-standard windows controls for combos and drop-downs, etc. Sorta makes you think it was designed for gays. In fact, it's perfect for gays.
OMG nooooo! that´s so much fun!I can't believe they haven't pulled these posts yet...
Squirmlefuck, please look closer at your beloved cracked DAW... HELL! you must be gay too (not a problem for me, peace to all genres), coz picklists aren´t standard there either. At least ours have nice, very useful lil bargraphs. Jalous? BTW, you are so stupid that I bet you can´t tell the difference between a drop down list and a combo box, can you?
Jajah
i like gay...
liebe piggle-butt.
i hope you're not gay because i like gay colors - they make the world a brighter, fuzzier place to be--- and i'm not falling for your i'm-bored-so-i'll-see-who-i-can-offend-for-the-minute rhetoric...
can't get that teeny-weeny up anymore, can ya? musically or otherwise...

if the ableton forum was simply all dog-bone-dry info and had no interesting or amusing or even occasionally rankling posts it wouldn't be nearly as fun and unique as it is.
surely when you see a subject line containing something that sounds silly or offending, you have the choice to simply NOT read it.
why didn't you?
FTR after 2 days of agonizing testing, and thinking i would NOT be able to upgrade to L4, i finally arrived at my own solution to my freeze prob w/ L4.0.1 and created a useful post and sent my detailed findings to tech support.
why can't the ableton forum contain a variety of speeches? most pipples can tell by the subject line whether or not a post will be helpful to them WHEN THEY NEED HELPFUL INFO.
sometimes i like the offbeat stuff after completing a bunch of REM depriving projects... like i just did this week.... 15-min. film score, completed editing 1.5 hours video for client, and finished implementation of a shopping cart for personal website.... (www.videostudyhall.com)...
after all that hell and striving to get L4 to work... i NEED a break.. fortunately... i don't have to leave the ableton forum. i get news, humor, hacks, info and much more.
good luck with your ableton forum.... hope it's as much fun as this one is.
cheers,

I'm in the adult industry, the whole thing runs on forums.if the ableton forum was simply all dog-bone-dry info and had no interesting or amusing or even occasionally rankling posts it wouldn't be nearly as fun and unique as it is.
Trust me, it turns to shit.
There are places for webmasters in my industry with 40,000 page views
and hundreds of posts a day. Then there are places with 500 posts a
month. The lower volume higher content ones win out all the time for
usefullness. Eventually the trolls drown out the content and all the good
people leave.
