Infusion, Orb (Orblivion tour), STS9, Skinny Puppy, Chem Bros put on a good show too. Not too sure how live it is though...

1.beat junkies- turntablism with serato....let's just say they push that program to the limit and they go nuts with only one sp-404 sampler.

2.jazzanova-just one hell of a dj set

I have to agree with above posters re:

- beastie boys, when they play their rap tunes with MMM spinning (but not when doing stoner jams), have had the most interesting thing I've seen going in music for the last decade. it's incredible - each night the tune you've heard 300 times is new and exciting because you never know what bed he'll lay under their rap and you never know how they'll vibe off it. f*cking brilliant.

- nin. downward spiral tour was great (including second go-around with Bowie), more than just musically but also in a culture way. music and production-wise the fragility tour was awesome (i miss robin fink).

I also just love seeing the dresden dolls. fantastic songwriting by amanda and thrilling energy and chemistry live.

there're of course lots i'm omitting, but whatever, i have to go to bed.

that kinda falls into 2 categories for me really

Traditional "bands"

Tool
Placaebo

Dance "bands"

Underworld (totally farking wicked experience, if you've never seen em live, you owe it to yourself, also pick up thier new album, its fucking wicked)
Booka Shade (saw them twice this week, I put them on a pedestal next to underworld after those 2 shows, probably the best dance act I have seen in years)
Faithless (been pure gold every time Ive seen them)
Trentemoller (Saw him in the weekend with full band, drummer, bass, guitarist etc. "Moan" live.... say no more, was wicked)
My Tracks on MySpace

Progressive Mix demo(not mixed in Live, mixed with CDJs)

17" Macbook pro 2.4 | Live 6 + Operator

these bands/people have all left me open mouthed and gasping with joy :

sonic youth
david byrne (especially when he started up once in a lifetime)
nomeansno
butthole surfers
chemical brothers
sex pistols
merzbow
throwing muses
beastie boys
john zorn

probably a few others too but i forget at the moment

but the most amazing band i have ever seen live ever ever in about 25 years of going to concerts are melt banana.

I don't know about electronic music, since I've never seen anyone perform a decent set, but what blows my mind is Iggy Pop And The Stooges! There's no one who can top their live act! And I've seen the Rolling Stones, I've seen ZZ Top, and many others, but man, you have to see Iggy on stage! Nothing can beat that! Well, Nine Inch Nails was OK, but Iggy... There ain't no comparison! Iggy is the king!

TOOL
Ministry
MBM
Ableton’s engineers are hard
at work developing code that will allow our software to predict the future, but we don’t
anticipate having this available until at least the next major release.
