Thanks Ableton,

I'm seriously pumped that it took you less than 4 business days to process my educational upgrade from 6 to live 7 suite download version in this first week of a new product release, thanks Katja for processing my order.

Now I'm gonna have a ferking PAAAAARRRTEEEHHH ! Booked off the afternoon so I can get some grooves going, OH YEAH :)

What's the average turn around time for the edu upgrades? I sent mine in on the 30th of November and haven't gotten it back yet. I was also having internet problems, but I know atleast one on my e-mails went thorugh...

out of curiosity did you get the download or boxed? i'm sure box edu upgrades take longer (like mine) but i'm getting worried that its been almost a week and no reply or paypal request. sent all my creds in and everything.

don't need session drums and EIC2 is not a significant upgrade for me, I got Live 6 boxed with the manual and EIC, I barely use the EIC sounds as I have so many other vsts and sample sets, nothing against them, there are a few good sounds in there. Also, I can't afford to give Sesh/EIC 40 GB of real estate on my hard drive. I may buy the Suite manual and stickers later (gotta have the stickies :) ) or I may print the manual out and ringbind it myself as there are tools at my disposal to do that at work (I will supply the paper)

Apparently boxed versions are taking longer due to a technical glitch at Ableton HQ, I read their manual pressing machine had broken and is causing the delay. And I'm jamming away with a huge smile on my face as my Live 7 is installed and having hella fun with all the cool instruments and features, OH YEAH ! No more betas to have to update and delete every 4 days, drum racks, slicing and the cool instruments are just awesome.

I ordered the suite upgrade on the edu plan.

I presumed I would get a serial added to my account (as I paid a few days ago) but maybe they're just going to send me the box and I have to wait - which would be a bummer. Then again - I have a MBP on the way so maybe I don't even want 7 judging by those performance test numbers! :-)
