yup recorded straight onto minidisc at the club. i had my back facing the speakers, so i couldn't tell if people were dancing or falling asleep. not an ideal setup, but it worked.

Volta Kindred video clip

Post by radder » Thu Jun 24, 2004 3:04 am

Hey, we have a new video clip. there's a link at http://beatzoid.com/voltakindred

It's from last halloween. We are using Live 3 and wearing costumes made with electroluminescent wire and powered thru a color organ which makes the outfits blink more-or-less with the music :)

I did a track for a friend's belly dance performance in Live. The drums were largely dumbek and bell samples, although I threw in a couple breakbeat snares and DR-660 cymbals. I did the percussion in the arrangement view, and performed the guitar live using my Line6 DL4. You can hear it at http://mauricerickard.com/mp/6-19-04_performance.mp3.
