Access Virus TI and Ableton automation

When I try to record automation using the access virus and virus control with ableton, it seems only a few parameters will map. Cutoff automation will record, but it seems any kind of attack or release changes will not. Does ableton live not record all parameters? Or is it on the virus? I am running winxp, ableton 7, and the latest drivers for the virus. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

right click on knob into VC and map it.

In Virus Control, you need to right click on the paramter you want to automate, and then choose to add it to the automation list before it will show up in Ableton.

except for the 3 default automation slots per channel You should about 20 o 30 another, so there plenty of'em
