1210's and live

Post by webby » Tue Aug 03, 2004 10:40 pm

Hey,

i am monitering my 1210's through live, basically i have the oupput of my mixer going into my mac. Is there an easy way to sync my samples and fx in live to my decks or is it just a matter of beat mixing manually. Sure i'll suss this but needing some tips...

you can try a hardware bpm counter that spits out midi sync, and stick it between your decks and your machine. i haven't used any myself so i have no recommendations. any dj shop online should have a bunch of them. as far as i understand, the simpler the beat, the better they work. daft punk=good...squarepusher=bad. otherwise, tap tempo and manual sync are your options afaik.

Red Sound's Micro Sync will do this, but they are not easy to find....
