i really hope it s a new Macbook Pro, as i need a new Laptop and can t wait any longer, but i can t justify buying the old one now.

For me, they don t have to change much, just give me 2,4 GHz for the base Modell, ONE 2 GB RAM module, perhaps a bigger HDD.

I would like to see 1680*1050 resolution on the 15,4 Modell

Apparently it'll have a shitty firewire chip that even a PC user would avoid and a CPU throttling feature that means it'll run Live 7 terribly unless you install a 3rd party app.

Much the same as the current models then...

Not me. I want a new kind of machine. I've had a PowerBook for a few years, and buying a MBP would feel too much like I'm buying the same computer again.

I want a flippy screen like this:

I want touch screen for poor man's Lemur action.

I want a computer for Ableton Live. My biggest problem with the current Apple laptops is that the screen doesn't push back enough. I want a computer that I can rest on a table and stand beside, and have the screen lie flat against the table, fully horizontal. This is what I want for using a computer for music and creativity. I want to touch the screen - and I want it out sight. It's time we had this.

But, that said, if they ditch the Expressport on the higher end models, I'll buy a refurb MBP. PCI till I die.

So far it's all consumer dreck.

Sit on your sofa and back up your drive wirelessly!

Sit on your sofa and watch TV!

Exciting. Real exciting. Humankind has advanced.

So far...

The Apple TV 2 isn't that bad. I think it's a cool device. And the software upgrade for ipod touch sounds pretty cool. Be patient. The big news is yet to come!

I want true multiple library support on itunes, not their current "you can get with this or you can get with that" scheme. That's all I can afford because it will be free.

MacBook Air is 0.16" to 0.76". The thickest part of the MacBook Air is thinner than the thinnest part of the Sony. It fits inside a envelope
