Bizarre Behavior from LIVE and REASON
Ok wrap your mind around this.
Recently I started a project in Live 3 which had one track using Reason via Rewire.
The Reason portion was just some drums created on a RedRum, no big deal...
Heres where it gets freaky...
When I reopened the project last night and pressed play...
All of the tracks were producing sound
INCLUDING THE REASON TRACK
WHICH WAS PLAYING WITHOUT REASON RUNNING!
Thats right. i recieved audio through a line in from a program that was not running...
HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?
I even deactivated the rewire line in and reactivated it, the sound was STILL THERE.
Completely baffled, I closed the project and reopened it... SAME BEHAVIOR
Stupefied, I opened another project with a similiar layout, Rewire line in sending audio from RedRum.... SAME THING...
I dont see any other threads similiar to this so I'm assuming its never happened before...
Abletons, I'd like to hear your explanation for this one!

I am absolutely, 100% certain that the audio was not rendered and there was no clip on the track in session or arranger.
even if there was they wouldnt play when the tracks input was set to rewire so it just doesnt make any sense...
when i change the track input from reason to none the sound stops, verifying this.
i have checked the task manager and there is NO REASON PROCESS.
