New Novation Controller - Nocturn
Look's like Novation may have finally got it right on this one. 8 automapped rotary encoders with BCR style LED rings, a cross fader and a speed dial. The on-screen HUI makes sense, as does the price.

This seems like a massive mpc, but still can not compete with the power of the Roland Mv, it's very clear they are trying to compete with the MV-8800, analog synth and 8 track? thats so Rolandsweetjesus wrote:omfgmpc500020voiceanaloguesynth!abletoff wrote:But DUENDE MINI seems interesting too..

That Nocturn looks really cool... and it's cheap enough to buy a couple of 'em to control a series of racks.
This seems to have a "lemur-like" screen surface. I doubt it's anywhere near as flexible or programmable mind you.

I wish someone would make a simple high quality usb controller w/8 endless rotaries with LED AND LCD feedback, so you can see your parameters and position at a glance.
Seems like nothing beats the BCR for this so far...
But the BCR is kinda cheapie and has no LCDs...
