Is Live 4 supporting sending Midi-Notes to Plugins?

Post by Me, Myself & I and I » Fri Aug 13, 2004 1:59 pm

Case 1:
I have a step-sequencer plug-in (eg Era) which should trigger with its midi-output onother vst-Synth-Plugin.

Case 2:
I want to control DestroyFX Audio-Plugins via Midi?

Possible? How?

Thanks.

The answer is no. I've asked about Groove Agent, and it is not supported yet. Groove Agent is a VSTi that outputs MIDI note information. It is not routable in LIVE.
MacBook Pro (MacOS 13.0.1) i9 Processor, 32gb RAM, 4tb SSD
(STUDIO I/O) MOTU UltraLite mk5 (w/ADA8200), (LIVE I/O) Behringer X Air XR18
Ableton Live Suite 11 (Live performances), Studio One 5 (Studio Stem Creation)

I own ERA too, and I'd love for it to work in Live 4. Actually, you can send midi notes TO it, but Live won't accept it's midi out. That doesn't do us much good, does it?

I'm eagerly awaiting that feature. I like ERA!
