Making multi-samples

Post by compositeone » Sun Jan 27, 2008 4:12 pm

I want to create some multi-samples from some patches I have made in operator so that I can send them to my writing buddy who uses logic. Is there any sort of export feature so you could put in a range and note length that you want rendered to separate wavs?

Otherwise has any one got any helpful tips on quick ways to do it?

"So what kind of music do you make?"
"Both kinds...... drum and bass."

create a MIDI file for the range you want to sample, depending on the detail you desire i.e cromatic scale notes c2-c6 would give note on note detail, add spaces between notes enough to allow for the patches decay time so that the notes don't merge, record several passes of audio at different velocities i.e for 13 layers use increments of ten, 10 ,20 ,30, ending on 127, then using recycle or live 7 slice the scale to separate files.

just one option.
