Actually seems the amps are just a prop. Got to hand it to them to dream up the idea!!

"That's Justice, then–a pure pop spectacle. When, for example, they play Vancouver this weekend, the Frenchmen will be flanked on-stage by two ceiling-high stacks of Marshall amplifiers. Those amps are powerful icons, drawing Justice closer to AC/DC than to Daft Punk. But here's the thing: the amps are just props, empty boxes. In a way, they're like Justice's music itself, a middle finger to anyone who takes their dancing too seriously."

If they actaully sent sound through those stacks it would most likely sound like shit.

But there's hope for all of us if they can do their entire show off of 2 tracks.

It's easy enough to make fun of this kind of performance but a lot of us would also be at a loss to figure out how to pull a show off live. Most Electronica composers (notice I didn't say musicians) don't have a live show in mind when writing. I think that would totally change the writing if at every moment you were thinking "I have to be able to pull this off live, scrap it".

nothing is send through the amps. the amps are provided as part of their rider for each gig, its just part of the illusion.

now the next question is: did daft punk bring their pyramid from egypt, or is it also a fake one?

Poorest live I´ve seen this year. Just an empty show like their marshall boxes.

Carl Craig was playing after them at the same fest. No show, lights on, no head moving, no crosses, no nothing. Just good BIG House music.

Wait.... You mean that such an obvious rip-off of a famous 70's classic hasn't been hugely spotted by most of the "Phantom" listeners ?
I mean... : even the title is a hint (Goblin/phantom, etc)
