Spectrum Analyser and realtime waveform viewer for Mac (UB)

Post by jeskola » Fri Feb 15, 2008 3:40 pm

Hey guys. Looking for a good spectrum analyzer for intel mac – I have one with the Sonalksis eq, but I would like a bar one like wavelab. Is there anything out there that’s free , or not too expensive?

Also would love to be able to see my waveform in real time (for compression purposes really).. I see bram has one, but I don’t think its intel mac… Anything else out there?

Ableton’s engineers are hard
at work developing code that will allow our software to predict the future, but we don’t
anticipate having this available until at least the next major release.

Why not just upgrade to Live 7 with that money and then you have spectrum analyzer?

+1...sounds to me like you'd be wasting cash on a plug and not getting all of 7's new features. The only reason not to might be if you're not on a MacIntel.

+2 7 is a big jump from 5, you'll like it.

waoh. You're on intel mac and can't use both cores on your processor? Or did you pay the 50 bucks for the 5.2 duo core support? Doesn't that get subtracted from your upgrade fee? Maybe it'll still apply for the Live 7 upgrade.

Man, you'd have to pay me a lot of money to stay on 5!

5.2 was only for UB, not duel core support until live 6

wow the job to 7 will give you a huge performance boost.. the DL update is reasonably priced
