Forawrd/Reverse

I am positive that someone sometime has asked this before but i can't seem to find anything in the search function.
I want to be able to control the playback direction of a sample in real time much like the forward/reverse effect on the Korg Kaoss Pad 2.
if you don't know what i mean listen to Everything In Its Right Place by radiohead.

the best part is that i have a kaoss pad but cannot save samples on it and can only have two samples recorded. i want to circumvent these restrictions with live essentially.

Do you have Reaktor? There are a few VERY neat instruments for buffering samples and fuX0rZ1ng them up. (did you like my l33t sp33k?)

Have you tried using sample offset automation? You can get some pretty nice effects going with that...
