Sharing project

Post by duby4u » Fri Feb 29, 2008 5:25 pm

Hi! Im working with a friend on a project. He is running Live 6, me Live 7.
But when I send him the project he can't open it, so it's frustrating we can't work together. He must buy Live 7 or theres a way for me to save in Live 7 with compatibility for Live 6??

Thanks a lot!

if you still have 6 on your hard drive, why not use it? your only other option would be to render everything as audio, but that would defeat the purpose imo.

if you didn't have live 6, well, he might want to upgrade, the basic download is a really good deal for registured users of live6...

Thxx dcease for your fast reply!

It's obvious that they want everybody upgrade to live 7, but there are others soft that can work well sharing project on different versions, like Digital Performer or Protools.
It's a shame that Ableton can work this way...

Thanks anyway!
