Showing my age but this is quite possibly the best cover of a Janis Ian song I have ever heard.
I simply adore the original but Roberta Flack really captures the melancholy and passion of the original whilst making it her own.
Don't know jack about the video but the song is simply superb.
Quite possibly one of the most beautiful anti-war songs ever written.
Still think Janis Ian is one of the most underrated singer/songwriters of the last
30 years myself.
