Be a part of my Ableton text book ...

Post by Sonicavenger » Tue Mar 11, 2008 10:36 pm

Hey all,

I'm in the planning/research stages of my next text book for the outstanding Course Technology (Cengage Learning). It's most likely going to be for a series called "Your ____ Studio"--mine being your "Your Ableton Live Studio". I'm reaching out to you all for some help ...

What's in your studios? And not just your traveling rig or your go-to gear--I'm looking into the works: sound proofing? elevated floors? mounted studio monitors? But, even if it's a simple setup--that's cool too. Anything, I'd love to hear about it. You see we Ableton users are, of course, unique in the DAW world to say the least, and, as a result, our studios are much different than the conventional setup. I want to convey that in the book so new users get off on the right foot so they can feel the power  !

Look for more posts in the future regarding the book and rest assured, I always give credit where it's due. I will also be stressing the importance of this forum in the text as well the entire communal ora this app creates. Like no other ...

Just in case you curious, here's my latest work:

I just finished this for Course Tech. and M-Audio.

Thanks in advance!
