electribe es1 delay
electribe es1 delay
hej!
i'm working on a set in live7 to "virtualize" my electribe. i transform all the incoming mididata from the electribe with pd and send it back to live7. together with my bcr2000 i have a very cool setup now and i want to add a delay like the electribe one to my master, because you can make very cool "glitchy" sounds with it, when you change the delaytime.
but the live7 delays won't sound like that. is there a (free) vstfx which can do the job (for mac)?
thanks in advance.

@honsey: are you sure that u don't use the "modulation-delay" in the korg electribe? a simple-delay is a simple-delay and should sound more or less identical.......
other cool vst-delays:

Dynamically changing the delay time on on an Electribe is completely smooth as you're changing the speed that you scan through the delay buffer with. In Live's Simple delay, you change the size of the buffer, so you get ugly glitches instead of lovely pitching effects.BASSbüro wrote:@honsey: are you sure that u don't use the "modulation-delay" in the korg electribe? a simple-delay is a simple-delay and should sound more or less identical.......
I think that's what OP means at least.
Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

Just different ways of implementing delay time, there's no standard or 'right' way to do it, thus some sound different than others. Perhaps you could look into a 3rd party delay like PSP's 42.

honsey, your search might end here:
audiodamages dubstation
http://www.audiodamage.com/effects/prod ... ?pid=AD006
does almost the same pitching as the electribe.
give it a try, you'll love it.
