"Scale" midi effect can't save settings

Hi, it seems that running 4.01 on my G dual 1.25 1 gig RAM OS 10.3.3, the scale effect consistently erases whatever I set it to. It does this if I move the tracks its on or close and reopen the session. It also does not seem to actually save any information when I save a preset, ie. the preset name appears but reselecting it does nothing. Anyone else with this problem?

Now its not doing it and I'm not sure why. The session has Kontakt in it, and though the scale is not applied to Kontakt's track, maybe it's causing some funny business. Maybe this was a fluke. Guess I'll post again if it happens again or I figure something else out.
