Hey soulata, I like the punch-bag-style absorption you are using in the corners there.
How is it made and how good is it?

The setup is perfect. There's a lot of photos in this thread with 14 roomfulls worth of shit, so it's refreshing to see something so minimal. How do you like your UC-33e? Been thinking of picking one up.
Hey, thanks! I like the UC-33e for what it does in such a small space. The sliders and knobs are good enough quality and it's really nice to have so many controls within reach without having to switch any banks. It's great for controlling Operator and Live audio effects, but I bought it before I bought the Waldorf and now I could do with some endless rotary controllers. If they made a deluxe version with endless rotaries instead, that'd be the perfect product. I'd say, take a look at what you want to control with it...

Me set up in the VJ booth at the Big Chill House in Kings Cross:

My messy study in westcliff:

Me Set up in the balcony @ Papagenos in Covent Garden.

most of these are from video gigs I've done, the study (middle) is where I keep piles of crap I usually work round and about with the computer on my lap, if I need a decent acoustic space I'll go into a studio and use that.

I've got piles of un-pictured gear - Nord micromodular, SU700, RM1X, A3000 motu ultralite and so on.

Doepfer Drehbank.

Unfortunately, no longer being manufactured. 64 potentiometers x 2 banks = 128 knobs.

Wunderbar!

I'm using two of these beasts to do quadraphonic mixing. Pitch Black uses a pair as well. You can see how they are being implemented by Pitch Black here:

They turn up for sale used now & then. Highly recommended.
