Mbox 2 Pro as interface

is anyone running the Mbox 2 with L5 or even L7 can suggest why I can't get L5 to run with the MBox directly?
I have a G4 pbook and/or a MBP running Tiger and Leopard respectively.
When I launch L5 it doesn't see the Mbox. Is it a driver thing? Or something simpler then that?

I use Live 7 on a PC with Mbox. I have no problems using L7 as a standalone, re-wire slave from Pro Tools, or re-wire master with Reason 4.

So when you go to preferences/audio the mbox is not an option?

correct. It could be, I suppose, that I'm on L5. I have no reason to up to L7 as I use for TV PB not musical or DJ usage.

Thinking, perhaps I need to launch PT first, then L5? Perhaps PT needs to be the master?
