NIKON-CANON-SONY
I am looking to buy a camera,semi to profesional level.I want to spend around 500Euro.

Ableton’s engineers are hard
at work developing code that will allow our software to predict the future, but we don’t
anticipate having this available until at least the next major release.

We have a D70 and a D200. (wife is a photographer) Both nice digital systems.

Yeah, Vakis do you already have lenses from an existing analog system? Or are you starting from scratch?

I just bought the D60 from Nikon after reading reviews about it on american websites, there no one could find any negative arguments against this new model, if I would have read on german websites I would have not buy it... Is it me or do they like to complain in germany? Any way I am happy with that SLR it is not so big as others and makes good enough pictures.

If you can get your hands on a Nikon D40 ... It's cheaper than the D40x, it's 6MP (images large enough for enlargements, less noise at low lighting conditions that the D40x)...

Save money for lenses. A used D40 with a nice Nikor VR lense will give better results then a higher end camera with a cheap lense. Of course if you can afford a D200 and some VR lenses then you may be looking at a new career path.
