are those the new avantone active monitors next to your adams? i have a pair of adam a7s, but was considering the avantone as an extra set of monitors. how do you like the alleged avantones and do they (and also in what way) complement the sound of the adams?

Well, after "Cunt" "Horror" "Bitch" "Retard" Fuckhead" & "Fuck you" this has to be one of the nicest posts toward me so I''ll take it Homebelly. I know we still disagree on some things but,

Thank you.

How do you like them ?

For mid to high freq's they are pretty nice but for bass
they are quite difficult to handle imo.
eh, i think i got used to it the last 4 years but i'm lusting for A7's.....

nice setup !
Thanks for your comments !

About the MSP5s, I've got them since 2001 so I guess I'm pretty used to them. As you said they are not good enough for the low end bass (the ones from my modular synth can be really big !!! ). I think I will upgrade them this year.

Regards,

Hedi K.
Got the KRK RP10S sub to go with MSP5´s. Obviously works wonders for the low end and actually translates pretty well. I did find it difficult to match the sub for the MSP5´s... But with some of my favorite records I managed to nail it pretty good, I think...

Best,

-J

With a bit of 4 by 4 timber, cut with a saw on one side so that its tilted.
Very simple but it works well.
