automated track delay.

it would be great if you could create an automation envelope on each channel for track delay, so you could slow/speed tracks relative to one another. :D

Automating track delay to offset timings across tracks

Post by shmaltz » Mon May 05, 2008 4:33 am

I envisage that this feature would be used to create slight shifts in timings of beats or rhythms across tracks. For example, you could have a kick on the 4/4 in track A, then hats in track B could be shifted slightly forward or aft of the kick by using automated delay. You could also use it to create phasing effects between channels. For example Track C and D could be copies of one another, but a slight time shift between the two could create great phasing effects.
