L402:WinXP crash when changing screens

When I hit TAB or use the buttons, or try to load Lesson #2 from the Help menu. Live crashes instantly. Very odd. I'd think that this is something that isn't happening that frequently for users or there'd be many posts about it. Any ideas?

WinXP SP2, P4 2ghz

does this happen each time or just from time to time? And with which version of Live?
