Micron as Controller..anyone?

Anyone using an alesis micron for a midi controller? How well does it work with soft synths and how hard was it to setup?

Hardly ideal with so few knobs/keys.

For a hundred bucks you could get a 4 octave midi controller with knobs and faders, or indeed sell the micron and buy a second hand Ion.

I bought it for a hard synth but plan on using it to control softs as well, i already have a novtion remote zero controller so its more just to control the keys on teh soft synths

No reason why it shouldnt work.
I use mine with no problems for inputing midi keyboard info.
