I havent been able to figure out how to make a guitar riff I recorded....to drag so it repeats constantly they way pre packaged drum loops do
Live Suite 9, RME Fireface 800, Mac Book Pro, Sierra

Huh?
Is the recorded bit a clip? In a session slot? Do you have 'loop' highlighted in the clip?

You could try making it more drum like - beat yr guitar with a hammer?

I find that if I record the track over about 6 loops, then I size down to find the best loopable part, and warp it to fit if need be!
