you should have read below the 'enter serial' where it said 'Live 7 - Authorized'.. and just clicked ok

yeah no the airport thing is a apple problem, you can find an older version of airport online and install that instead, i did, search in this forum..

yeah i got asked to input my serial again, but i didnt get the already registered bit

I'm too old and stupid to figure that sort of shit out without a little prior warning, my hard won bitterness, paranoia and general pessimism helped me to assume the worst and I simply thought I'd become untrusted in some way.

It's ok now though, I'm happy(ish) again.

If you read that panel carefully you saw that there was also an otion to just run Live since one serial was allready installed. But, yeah - the top row is abput entering a serial. New stuff.

Yaa but please dont make the upgrade really expensive, or anything at all. these bug fixes have been sooo quick. its like 7-8 could be only 9 months. thats soo short. i sure hope 7 to 8 is free... anyway cant wait to see whats in store.

they should just charge for these routine updates to. but instead of just being like 7.0.7 or w/e just be like 8 9 10 11 12. no doubt everyone would pay 500 everytime. DO IT ABLETON! u wont. then charge us again for stuff we already have. but just say we dont have it and make us buy it again. or they should make us pay the $500 + make a $2000 donation to al gore. but if u pay the 500 and dont make the 2000 donation we dont get the new version. and they keep our 500. + they can come seize all our property with there private swat team.

Why the rush man ? Id rather wait and have Live 8 come out with this C74 thing too..

oh and 7.0.7 is working good for me! seems to have stablised my CPU meter a bit..!!

There are quite a few new samples added to the Lessons in this release.

I know that because I have no unused samples in my Library and they appeared in this release.

That means there is a bug in the handling of unused samples - the alrorithm doesn't include usage in Lessons.

HAHAHAHA lmao... sooooooo true. i sure hope Abes doesn't charge for 7-8. 9 months for a full version and all its updates is ridiculously fast, and if this is how their planning on bringing in money: not getting enough new customers so by just getting all their "already" customers to purchase upgrades at such ridiculous prices and upgrading so quickly they can keep hiking it up..... well fffffffff thaaattt!!!!!!!
