this would be the perfect application for a muse or similar box....kinda like a separate comp but easier to deal with and very flexible, awesome for studio and live use.bosonHavoc wrote:you ever think of setting up another computer to run some of those big vsti?

no one said live 7 doesnt work on 64 bit.Trypset wrote:I run winxp64 with like 6.0.7, it runs DOPE. My CPU spikes at 22 at the most for anything i'm doing now. I only have 1.7 GIGs of RAM, way room for upgrade. I would get a 64 bit processor and get winXP64.....i love it
so live 7 will not work on a 64 bit system? why the eff not?
how do you do that? have you configured it like that in ableton live itself or do you mean your whole system, with midiyoke or something?yes I am sure as when I open ableton and load a vst I have it configured to load the plugin independent from ableton yet still interface with the application via midi
all 32bit applications should run on a 64bit OS, afaik, they just don't take advantage of 64bit in that case. I think compatibility issues may arise only when you're using 32bit plug-ins in 64bit host software....
