Ableton's controls too tiny at high monitor resolution

Post by maxplanck » Wed May 21, 2008 2:23 am

Ableton's controls are too tiny at high monitor resolutions. Is there a way to increase their size, without decreasing the monitor resolution?

Thank you

Affix large magnifying glass to the monitor.

i'm running 2560 x 1600 on one screen
& 1920 x 1200 on the other & both are fine...

have you had your eyes tested lately?

I agree with the OP about the tiny text size - my laptop is the standard 15.4" 1280 x 800. Any smaller resolution and I'd be squinting.

And no, there's currently no way to change it.

Seriously, I wish I could at least double the size of the 'clip launch' button

I would suggest just getting yourself a midi controller (even a cheap one) to launch clips. It is seriously like 1000X easier than hunting and clicking and timing/performance can be much more accurate and expressive. Other than that, I am not sure how you would make them bigger on screen.
