Yep. I remember trying the pre-release demo and sending an email to them saying I hadn't had so much fun doing music in years...

I remember that Live 1.xx warping was a bit tedious..but it worked fine. Apart the time spent to warp the loops (if I remember well the actual and fantastic zoom method was available since the version 3) the only problem were the high frequencies...a "bit" altered.

Can someone confirm that the zoom in the version 1.xx was different?

the first gig i played with live was with the pre-release demo of live1... insane, i know, but it worked out... had to restart the program a few times during the show, because there was only 30min of demo time per session... :)
bought live1 5 min after the official release and had order number 003 or so...
;))
still use it & love it....

live 1 had no midi, no clip envelopes...
elastic audio & warp markers were already there....

yeah, Version 1...
you couldnt turn warp off...and there was only beats mode...
no sends/returns, those came in version 1.5 along with the reverb...
you could use VST effects, but saving a Live set and reloading it would not recall the VST's state...
I think it had rewire...

beautiful program though, way more inspiring than any of the DAWs out there at the time...
anyone else remember some of the feature set?

Same for me...oh...the good days of the delta  no midi...hmmm, warping was a little nightmare but that brought me to do it now in 30 seconds...after that, I got the full version.
