only from the bad white men perspective..
What makes saying "they are not lost." from the "bad white man perspective"??

This is what's so frustrating to me, it's as if you either have to be a total ass and have no understanding that it's not intelligent to think of a tribe of people who look healthy as lost, or you are a PC wimp who hates himself for being male/white/in a powerful technologically advanced culture?

How about the obvious? They are not lost, and we are not "found"? (cue ethios or some other jesus/technology-as-the-indicator-of-cultural-worth chiming in with some abstract apology for western culture, when I've made no attack against it)

what I meant was that it's so typical and ignorant seeing such a tribe as lost.. from which perspective?
from our dominant western culture that is..
and who says they don't know other cultures?

anyway..
all I said was, +1 to

That is really amazing have they been detected by any locals or are they truly isolated from the rest of the world? This is really interesting!
I hope they video tape the first missionary getting stuck with an arrow....

What does the resolution of the pictures have to do with their authenticity?

I'm surprisingly jealous of their simplicity in an increasingly fucked-up world...
we all know you just wanna get nekkid and paint yourself orange..
I totally wish I was red or orange or black. That would be SO METAL!

Pretty cool tribal gear. Although the gold belt is prolly a cheap Chinese import. If the UN ever does decide to make first contact I highly recommend these ambassadors...

Discovering a giant crab-like sea monster that's 30 stories tall and has been living on the bottom of the ocean is cool.

Discovering some tribe that's probably been in-breeding like a son-of-a-bitch for hundreds of years is not.

Welcome to the 21st Century, motherfuckers.
