Viva La Vida
so who's managed to check this out yet?
ive only had a chance to skip through to the single which is very well produced, although i would have peferred a slightly more present/upfront vocal.

Re: Viva La Vida
I have found all Coldplay's albums to take time to grow on me. I'm starting to like this one, but my gut feeling is still that it will be hard-pushed to surpass X&Y.sweetjesus wrote:so who's managed to check this out yet?
Dammit. This was a test wasn't it? I've just gone and admitted to liking them in public. If I had any street cred I'd have to hand it in now I guess...

maybe it'll grow on me, but somehow i was expecting more from mr. eno being involved.
don't ask me what exactly i miss.
also the track count and just being 45minutes somehow disappointed me.
maybe this is why he refused to give a short pre-listen.
good: nice 2 headed songs that change their face completely.
chris tried some deeper octaves. waited for ages for this to happen.

I haven't bothered, Parachutes and Rush of Blood were fantastic, X&Y is complete shit, I assumed this would be just as bad because all Coldplay ever want to do are make the exact same song again and again, but you can only attempt to rewrite "Clocks" so many times.
Curious now since some of you actually like it, and this group generally never cares for pop garbage.
Shit, have to finish packing and get my ass out of Vegas.
