The Spanish-Italian match was a good one this afternoon. But god damn do the Italians love to take dives.

Ok, halfway there... What a terrible match. Germany played almost as badly as they did when they lost against Croatia. Slow, half-awake, afraid of the ball. Only three real chances and they score from each one... They were a bit lucky, really, to win. Ah, well, roll on a Russia - Germany final!

Germany specialises in doing exactly what is needed to win, not the tiniest bit more. they had 3 opportunities vs. portugal, they scored 3 goals. they had 4 vs. turkey and they've scored 4 goals again. when they're not scoring, they suck and are no pleasure to watch.

I'm spanish, but I don't mind if russia wins, as long as they beat germany.

the only exception was germany in 06, they actually played well then.

Kudos to Spain, who were my favourites prior to the tournament - I hope they
eat Germany for dinner in the final. A shame about Russia, though; it
seems as though the air completely went out of them.

Spain - Germany final! Perfect! No idea who will win, but will be happy for both sides

It's been a great tournament so far - let's hope that the final is also an entertaining game of football.

I reckon Spain might have the edge, not least because Casillas is playing about 10 times better than Lehmann. And Senna is more effective and works harder than Ballack. Germany's only hope is that Klose is taller than Silva and Villa added together...

But, like I said, no idea...
