Anyone using Apogee Duet?

Post by misteron » Wed Jun 18, 2008 10:02 am

I've heard one report of problems using Duet with more than 2GB RAM (post #21 on this page)

Can anyone confirm / deny?

Has anyone used Duet with Leopard?

using duet with leopard and the only problems I've had so far is the massive amounts of latency with Live.

I use it with 3GB in my MacBook and 4GB in my Hackintosh. Works great. If you want a unit that sounds better than anything else on the market under $1500 buy a Duet.
Gig Rig - rMBP 2.3GHZ i7, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD, OSX 10.13.x, Presonus FS, Live 10.x
Home Rig - i9 eight-core Hackintosh 32GB DDR4, 2nd Generation Scarlett 18i20, ADA8000, JoeMeek SixQ, Live 10.x

Correct me if I am wrong here, but I heard you can't separate the main outs from the headphone out so it's all or nothing. How stupid…or maybe I am stupid if I'm wrong. It seems a little pricey if all you are getting is just clean sound and low latency on just 2 tracks.

there is clean sound but like I keep saying, with Live there is no low latency.
